Acquired Structures / Vacant Building Training

Acquired Structures / Vacant Building Training

Training at an acquired structure offers many great benefits to fire departments.  In many cases, it is a step away from “props” and engineered burn buildings, mazes, etc., and is a step closer to the real thing.

Firefighters have a unique opportunity to enhance their skills at acquired structures.  All Hands Fire Training offers several options to maximize the use of a vacant building.  Program options include,

  • Designing skill stations, focused on specific needs of the firefighters and/or fire department
  • Design scenarios that will allow a fire department to operate as a whole, initiate policies and guidelines, challenge firefighters and fire departments, etc.
  • Full-day and multi-day H.O.T. programs for fire department, and their mutual aid departments
  • Specific training programs, such as Rapid Intervention Team (R.I.T.), Firefighter Survival, Engine Company Operations, Truck/Ladder Company Operations, and more.
