The traditional Pro Bar Halligan Bar is one of the most versatile tools a Firefighter can have. There are many techniques out there to improve your bar. For ease of use and to reduce slipping you can wrap the shaft of the tool with common cord and then wrap that area in the same direction with hockey tape. If you do not have cord, another option is rolling tape, wrapping the shaft with the rolled tape and then tape over it in the same direction.
You can add some colored tape for easy identification.
