Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training

FEMA has an outstanding program for towns and cities, known as the Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.).

The C.E.R.T. program educates individuals about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response.

Skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations make up the Basic C.E.R.T. Training Program.

All Hands Fire can provide training on one or all of the Basic C.E.R.T. Training Program sessions.  These sessions are:

Session #1:  Disaster Preparedness

Session #2:  Fire Safety & Utility Control

Session #3:  Disaster Medical Operations, Part 1 and Part 2

Session #4:  Light Search & Rescue Operations

Session #5:  CERT Organization

Session #6:  Disaster Psychology

Session #7:  Terrorism and CERT

Session #8:  Program Review, Final Exam

This program can be presented at the All Hands Fire Training Center in Neptune City NJ, or in a customer’s community.  Specific site provisions are required, including a classroom and other area for hands-on training.
