TECHNICAL RESCUE TRAINING
All Hands Fire offers customized training on Technical Rescue operations and skills. These sessions meet or exceed NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670. Programs can be on a focused topic or on a specific piece of equipment. Our instructors have extensive experience as rescue technicians, teaching technical rescue and providing stand-by services.
Examples of customized training offered include:
Basic Structural Collapse / Shoring – This program is a basic awareness and
introductory level program on Structural Damage and Collapse. It is designed to provide the basic skills and situational awareness for minor building damage and collapse incidents that first responders may be called to. It will also provide students with basic knowledge on shoring and cribbing techniques that can be useful in assisting technical rescue teams/technicians during large scale emergencies. (2 day class)
Technical Rescue Equipment Use and Operations – This program focuses on tools and equipment that are specific to technical rescue operations. Some examples of this type of equipment and/or operations include:
- Petrogen Cutting Torch
- Grip Hoist
- Man vs. Machine
- Hydraulic Extrication Tools
- Tripod Rigging
- and more
Customized Training – Our customized program(s) can be planned and scheduled to meet your specific need. These sessions can be scenario-based or specific to the equipment.
