PETZL EXO FIREFIGHTER ESCAPE SYSTEMS TRAINING

All Hands Fire is an authorized Petzl dealer and Petzl Technical Partner (PTP) providing manufacturer-approved Petzl EXO and Petzl EXO-AP firefighter escape system training.  Since 2007, All Hands Fire has trained and equipped thousands of firefighters and fire departments across the United States in the use of personal escape and bailout systems.

Our Petzl EXO training follows Petzl manufacturer recommendations and combines classroom instruction with progressive, hands-on firefighter bailout training.  The program is designed to develop confidence, muscle memory, and proficiency in the deployment and operation of the Petzl EXO Personal Safety System during emergency egress.  Firefighters progress from equipment familiarization and deployment techniques to practical bailout evolutions conducted under direct instructor supervision.

The Petzl EXO Personal Safety System includes the EXO-AP descender, 7.5 mm x 50-foot Technora rope, Petzl OK TRIACT-LOCK carabiner with captive eye, steel anchor hook with hitch slot, and an optional Nomex hip-mount carry bag.

For fire departments implementing the Petzl EXO firefighter escape system, training personnel on newly issued equipment, or maintaining firefighter bailout proficiency through refresher training, All Hands Fire provides manufacturer-authorized instruction focused on safe, effective, and repeatable use of the system.

STERLING F4, FCX, STEALTH FIREFIGHTER ESCAPE SYSTEMS TRAINING

All Hands Fire is an authorized Sterling dealer and training provider for the Sterling FCX Escape System, Sterling F4 Escape Device, and Sterling STEALTH Personal Escape System.  Our involvement with Sterling firefighter escape systems dates back to October 2009, when All Hands Fire participated in the first manufacturer trainer course in Biddeford, Maine.

That relationship has continued through the evolution of Sterling’s firefighter escape equipment.  All Hands Fire instructors were selected to participate in the testing and development of Sterling escape system products, providing firefighter-focused input and hands-on evaluation during the development process.  This experience gives our instructors valuable familiarity with the equipment, its operation, and its intended application in firefighter emergency egress.

Since 2009, All Hands Fire has equipped and trained thousands of firefighters and fire departments in the use of Sterling personal escape and bailout systems.  Our Sterling Rope-approved firefighter escape system training combines classroom instruction with progressive hands-on skill development to build confidence, reinforce muscle memory, and develop proficiency in rapid emergency egress.

Students learn equipment inspection, system preparation, deployment techniques, anchoring considerations, and proper operation before progressing through supervised firefighter bailout evolutions.  Training is designed for departments implementing Sterling FCX, F4, or STEALTH escape systems, firefighters receiving new personal escape equipment, and agencies seeking initial, refresher, or ongoing firefighter bailout and escape system training.

FIRE INNOVATIONS CORE & EVO FIREFIGHTER ESCAPE SYSTEMS TRAINING

All Hands Fire is an authorized dealer and approved training provider for Fire Innovations firefighter escape systems, including the Fire Innovations CORE Escape System and Fire Innovations EVO Escape System.  All Hands Fire provides manufacturer-approved, hands-on training designed to give firefighters the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to effectively operate these personal escape systems during emergency egress and firefighter bailout situations.

All Hands Fire instructors also assisted Fire Innovations with the testing and development of the EVO escape systems, providing hands-on evaluation and firefighter-focused feedback during the product development process.  This firsthand experience provides our instructors with a strong understanding of the equipment, its operation, deployment techniques, and intended application in demanding fireground environments.

Our Fire Innovations CORE and EVO escape system training combines classroom instruction with progressive hands-on skill development to build proficiency, reinforce muscle memory, and improve rapid deployment techniques.  Firefighters learn system components, equipment inspection and preparation, anchoring and deployment considerations, and proper operation before progressing through supervised firefighter bailout evolutions.

Training is designed for fire departments implementing Fire Innovations CORE or EVO personal escape systems, firefighters receiving newly issued bailout equipment, and agencies seeking initial, refresher, or ongoing firefighter escape system and bailout training.  The goal is to develop safe, efficient, and repeatable skills that firefighters can rely on when emergency egress becomes necessary.

GEMTOR CLASS 2 HARNESS TRAINING

This training program combines classroom instruction and hands-on skill development to provide firefighters with a comprehensive understanding of the Gemtor Class II Rescue Harness.  Students learn essential fundamentals including proper sizing and fitting, harness functions, operational uses, care and maintenance, and manufacturer recommendations, before applying these skills in practical scenarios such as rescues, drags, carries, stair operations, self-rescue and bailout, lifting and lowering, and securing themselves in various situations.

An advanced full-day program builds upon the basic course by introducing more complex tactical applications and scenario-based operations.  All Hands Fire delivers this training through experienced, qualified instructors, with program development rooted in long-standing collaboration with Gemtor, Inc., industry best practices, and FDNY-referenced protocols, ensuring a proven and practical approach to harness use in real-world fireground conditions.

CMC (LEVR)

All Hands Fire is an authorized dealer and qualified trainer for the CMC LEVR Escape System, having equipped and trained thousands of firefighters with life-saving bailout systems across numerous states. This CMC-approved program focuses on building student confidence, reinforcing muscle memory, and developing proficiency in performing rapid emergency egress through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training.

RIT SAFETY SYSTEMS (PRESS)

All Hands Fire is an authorized dealer and trainer for RIT Safety Systems’ Pre-Rigged Egress Safety System (P.R.E.S.S.) Bailout System and has equipped and trained thousands of firefighters in their use. This RIT Safety Systems–approved program focuses on building student confidence, reinforcing muscle memory, and developing proficiency in performing rapid emergency egress through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training.

DEUS RESCUE

All Hands Fire is an authorized dealer and trainer for DEUS Rescue Escape Systems and has equipped and trained thousands of firefighters in their use. This DEUS Rescue–approved program focuses on building student confidence, reinforcing muscle memory, and developing proficiency in performing rapid emergency egress through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training.
