The New Fire Officer is designed to help current and aspiring officers navigate the challenges of leadership, supervision, and organizational management within today's fire service. Participants will explore the transition from peer to supervisor, understand the impact of department culture and politics, and learn strategies for managing personnel, maintaining professionalism, developing policies, handling social media, and overseeing administrative responsibilities such as budgeting and training.
