COURSE OVERVIEW

This Tower Rescue program prepares emergency responders, industrial rescue teams, and tower personnel to safely perform rescues from communication towers, monopoles, guyed towers, wind measurement towers, and other elevated structures. Students develop the knowledge and practical skills necessary for hazard recognition, fall protection, rescue planning, patient packaging, rope rescue operations, RF awareness, and incident management while meeting applicable NFPA, OSHA, ANSI, and industry standards.

PROGRAM OPTIONS

TOWER RESCUE AWARENESS

Provides personnel with the knowledge to recognize tower rescue hazards, understand rescue resources, support incident operations, and apply basic safety principles and regulatory requirements.

TOWER RESCUE OPERATIONS

Builds the practical skills needed to operate within a tower rescue team, including hazard assessment, patient packaging, rope systems, rescue plan implementation, and coordinated rescue operations.

TOWER RESCUE TECHNICIAN

Develops advanced rescue capabilities for personnel responsible for planning, managing, and executing complex tower rescues, including high-angle operations, advanced rigging, patient packaging, team leadership, and technical rescue problem-solving in challenging environments.

SKILL MODULES

All individual skill modules can be delivered as stand-alone training sessions, giving departments the flexibility to tailor training to their specific operational needs, staffing levels, and scheduling constraints. Whether used to reinforce core competencies, address identified gaps, or provide focused skill development, each module can be scheduled independently and delivered on-site to align with your department’s availability and training objectives.
