COURSE OVERVIEW

All Hands Fire delivers structural collapse training focused on operating safely in compromised and unstable structures. Programs are designed to develop the skills needed to assess damage, manage hazards, and implement shoring systems to support rescue operations.

Training is tailored to your department’s experience level, equipment, and response responsibilities, combining classroom instruction with practical, scenario-based exercises. Students gain hands-on experience building and placing shoring systems while operating in realistic collapse environments.

PROGRAM OPTIONS

STRUCTURAL COLLAPSE OPERATIONS

This program focuses on foundational collapse awareness, hazard recognition, and basic shoring operations. Students learn building construction principles, how to identify structural instability, and how to safely assemble and place strut systems and basic wood shores. Emphasis is placed on scene safety, initial stabilization, and supporting rescue operations in compromised structures.

STRUCTURAL COLLAPSE TECHNICIAN

Advanced training focused on complex collapse scenarios and technical rescue operations. Students build on Operations-level skills to construct advanced shoring systems, manage load paths, and operate in high-risk environments with significant structural instability. Training includes detailed scenario work, multi-point shoring, and coordinated rescue operations in heavily compromised structures.

SKILL MODULES

All individual skill modules can be delivered as stand-alone training sessions, giving departments the flexibility to tailor training to their specific operational needs, staffing levels, and scheduling constraints. Whether used to reinforce core competencies, address identified gaps, or provide focused skill development, each module can be scheduled independently and delivered on-site to align with your department’s availability and training objectives.
