Deputy Chief Michael Terpak (Ret.) brings more than 50 years of fire, rescue, and educational experience, including 36 years with the Jersey City Fire Department. As Deputy Chief and City-Wide Tour Commander, he was responsible for a shift of 160 firefighters and fire officers.
Terpak has traveled throughout the country teaching fire/rescue and promotional preparation and is the former founder of Promotional Prep LLC. He is the author of six fire service books covering fireground size-up, assessment centers, operational strategy, management, supervision, and promotional preparation.
