Command officers rarely receive complete information during a hazardous materials incident. Reports conflict, conditions change, and critical decisions often need to be made before the full picture is available. Built around NFPA 470 competencies, this course develops the ability to evaluate technical information, establish priorities, and manage complex incidents within an all-hazards environment. Participants use simulations and tactical discussions to strengthen command decision-making, resource coordination, and risk management under evolving conditions.
This course satisfies the following requirements: OSHA 1910.120; NFPA 470, 473, 1072, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1999
