COURSE OVERVIEW

Highway transportation incidents often place responders in dynamic environments where traffic, damaged containers, and incomplete information complicate operations. Quick identification and accurate hazard assessment are critical. This course focuses on cargo tanks, package freight, vehicle identification, and transportation-related hazards. Participants learn to evaluate conditions, use available reference resources, interpret monitoring data, and make operational decisions that support responder and public safety.

This course satisfies the following requirements: OSHA 1910.120(e); OSHA 1910.120(q); NFPA 30, 385, 386, 400, 470, 472, 704, 1072; ISO 17840-1:2022
